The department student Association "FIESTA" was Inaugurated on 23rd July 2012. The association coordinator, Ms.N.Saranya AP/EEE welcomed the gathering. The Principal Dr.C.Natarajan deliver the presidential address. He stressed the importance of renewable energy usages. Dr.T.Elango, Principal, DSCE felicitated the gathering. He discussed about the solar energy resources. Prof.S.Jayanthi introduced the chief guest.
The head of the department Prof.S.Gobimohan, introduced all the office bearers of the Association. The Chief Guest Dr.N.Sivakumaran, Prof/ICE,NITT, presented a brief lecture on Power losses in transmission line. Mr.S.Selvakumaran AP/EEE presented the vote of thanks.
