National Level Technical Seminar in EMERGING TRENDS IN WIRELESS NETWORKS on 14th February 2014.
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering conducted a National Level Technical Seminar in Emerging trends in wireless networks on 14th February 2014.
The Chief Guest S.ANJALI THIRUKUMARAN Managing Director of SAT INFOSYS, Coimbatore discussed the importance of wireless communications, Networks and its applications. She also encouraged the students to do research work using Network simulator NS2.
Students from various engineering colleges like, Jayaram ,TRP, Kongunadu, Navalar, Angalaman, Jayaram, Imayam, participated in seminar and got their certificates from the chief guest.

National level Seminar on Planar and Reconfigurable Antennas conducted by the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 09-02-2013. Chief Guest was Dr.T.Shanmuganantham, Assistant Professor, Pondicherry University. The resource person gave a lecture on Improvement in Knowledge about the Planar and Reconfigurable antennas.

2015-2016
NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNICAL SEMINAR - I
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering conducted one day National WORKSHOP on “RECENT TRENDS IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION’’ on 19th August 2015 in the college Auditorium.
Dr.T.Elango, Principal, delivered the presidential address. He started his speech with college vision and mission statements and gave a short speech about the Professionals ethics and values. In his speech he insisted students to do research work felicitated the WORKSHOP.
Mrs.P.Rajeeswari, Organizing chair, welcomed the gathering. Ms.J.PADMAPRIYA, Assistant Professor gave chief guest introduction. Dr.G.NAGARAJAN, Pondicherry Engineering College, Pondicherry, delivered the key note address on communication techniques.
He explained about various types of modulation techniques such as BPSK, QPSK, FSK,PSK. His speech includes the description of parameters like Bit error rate, SNR, Spectral efficiency. Ms.J.MARIA SOFI ANUSUYA, Assistant professor delivered the vote of thanks. WORKSHOP concluded with the recite of National Anthem.
NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNICAL SEMINAR -II
The Department of ECE organized the “National Level Technical Seminar” –on 10thFeb 2016 at DSEC, Perambalur.
The event started with the formal Inaugural function at 10.00a.m in Auditorium. The chief guest Mr. Avudaiappan, Pantech Solutions Pvt., Ltd. Chennai. Organizing Chair Prof P.Rajeswari, Organizing Secretaries Prof. Ms.J.Maria Sofi Anusuya, and Prof.Ms.S.Suruthi, were present on the dais. The function started with Invocation Song by IV Year Students of ECE, followed by the welcome speech was given by Organizing Chair Prof.Ms.D.Sathyakala. Overview of Seminar was delivered by Prof.Mrs.V.Bharathi, and organizing coordinator introduced the chief guest to the audience. Our respected Chairman Sir, along with Principal, in person honoured our chief guest.

Association Inaugural and Seminar on " Industrial Electronics"
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has Inaugurated the Association HERTZ’19 for this academic year 2019-2020 and organized a seminar on “Industrial Electronics” on 11.07.2019 at DSEC Auditorium.
In this function Mr.K.C.Tamil Venthan,Managing Director, LIFT INDIA, Industrial Training Centre,(Life Intensive Formation of Trust)Trichy has been invited as a chief guest. This Seminar aims to provide basic concept of industrial electronics and application of electronics in the field of industry.
Initially Prof.B.Karthiga, Head of the department, welcomed the gathering. Mrs. P.Rajeswari, Association coordinator has introduced the office bearers for this academic year 2019-2020 and narrated the activities of Association .Prof.D.Karthikeyan, PG Coordinator has honored the Chief Guest. Ms.M.Madhumathi III Year Student of ECE department introduced the chief guest to the audience.

In this auspicious occasion MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) were signed between the department and LIFT INDIA, Industrial Training Centre, Trichy for the betterment of faculty and students.
Staff Members from ECE Department have been honored by the Chief Guest for faculty cooperation and dedication towards accreditation of NBA (National Board of Accreditation) for 3 years from the academic year 2018-2021.academic toppers have been appreciated with medal and certificate.
Mr.K.C.Tamil Venthan, Managing Director, LIFT INDIA, gave a brief notes on Industrial Electronics. He also gave a live demonstration on home appliance based projects.
Ms.Abinaya, Vice President of Hertz’19, IV Year Student of ECE department has delivered the vote of thanks and the function successfully ended up with National Anthem.
