Dhanalakshmi
Srinivasan Engineering College established in the year 2001,
is committed to impart quality education in the fields of
Engineering and Technology and thereby uplift the rural community
of this socially, economically and educationally backward
district of Perambalur. The college is recognized and approved
by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
The Founder – Chairman dreams of establishing this institute
as a world class nodal center of learning, research and training.
This
cherished dream of the Founder-Chairman is being carried forward
by an eminent and dedicated stalwart of education, Dr.
S. Thayumanavan, the head of the institution.

With
43 years of academic experience, from Anna University, Chennai,
he ensures the career objectives all our students are systematically
nurtured through quality technical education has taken the
institution along a path of success and accolades. He has
promised growth in all spheres of the institution. Perseverance,
hard word, honesty, integrity and a life of traditional, moral
and ethical values are the key words behind his success.
Under
his eminent leadership, as a friend, philosopher and guide,
a team of dedicated and learned faculty work in unison to
further the institution to a temple of learning. The constant
support of the management and the strenuous commitment of
the faculty have made him to initiate and succeed in getting
two of the UG programmes accredited by NBA. They are B.E (ECE)
Electronics and Communications Engineering and B.E (CSE) Computer
Science and Engineering. Our college is one of the few institutions
to get NBA accreditation as soon as it became eligible. Encouraged
by this success we are planning to get accreditation for two
more programmes, namely, B.E (EEE) Electrical and Electronics
Engineering and MBA, Masters in Business Administration.
